Tamar Valley Woodworks offers a complete bespoke service, from design through to installation, of hand built kitchens and custom made furniture for studies, bedrooms, bathrooms and living rooms.
We use timber and veneers only from certified suppliers and endeavour to source as much timber as possible from local sawmills.
Contemporary Kitchen Design
Traditional construction techniques are combined with modern design and clean lines to create a contemporary kitchen which is built to last. The combination of natural materials, the latest work surfaces, appliances and cabinet fittings, results in a truly unique kitchen.
Traditional Kitchen Design
Traditional cabinetwork features solid timber face frames and flush fitting doors hung on brass hinges. Our traditional kitchens are designed around these principles and are normally made from indigenous timbers. Occasionally existing architectural details are used to create a design which fits perfectly into the building.
Curved Kitchen Design
We specialise in curved cabinet work, using tried and tested and very robust construction techniques. Cabinets, doors, face frames and drawer boxes can be made to almost any shape. Curved shapes dramatically increase the options available in the design of your kitchen, adding to the flow of the space and breaking up lengths of cabinetwork. When combined with exotic veneers, curved cabinet work can be elegant and dramatic.
